Trucks For Sale

We all want as much as we can get when we sell our vehicles. There are a few things to take note of before putting your truck for sale.

Parking:
When you park your truck in a place where traffic is high, perhaps being visible during peak hours of work commute, it's possible to sell it in just a few minutes. If this means you need to drive it out to a location that's 30 or more miles away, do it. In fact, it's possible to drive to work and put your truck for sale at the same time. Have a coworker follow you to a high traffic area, park your truck in a business parking lot, and ride back to work with your coworker. This is the perfect way to sell your truck while you're not even thinking about it.

Pricing:
Everybody loves a bargain. When you offer your truck for sale, don't put a bottom dollar price on it. On the contrary, you should mark the price up and over what you will actually take for it - by about 20 percent! If you don't get haggled down, all the better for you, but if the buyer asks you what is the least you'll take for it, you should reply with a simple "what will you give me". This way, instead of making it an obvious OBO (Or Best Offer) sale, you will get the best offer which includes, at least, the amount of money you wanted for your truck.

Label:
It's important to have small signage on the truck stating your phone number. You can get a for sale sign for just a couple of dollars at the super market, or you can use ordinary paper with a hand written or typed message on it. There are free templates available on the internet for creating "truck for sale" signs. You will need to get a big piece of cardboard or poster board for making a large window sized sign that's viewable from a distance when the vehicle is parked in a high traffic location. You want the potential buyer to see the information without making them cause a traffic jam or accident. But, you do want them to easily see your phone number and/or price so they can call you right away!
